Ibrik brewer has been around for as long as coffee itself. This method is seen in Turkey, Greece, and other countries around the Mediterranean and the horn of Africa. In other countries it can be called a cezve or briki.
Finely ground coffee is put into the bottom. cold water added. Then the pot is heated to boiling, stirred and removed from the heat. There is no filtering. The heavier coffee settles to the bottom and you pour off your cup of coffee.
